#time4change

It’s Ash Wednesday! Lent: a time for reflection and repentance, a spiritual detox if you will. Forty days of spiritual renewal, a chance to deepen our discipleship and accompany Jesus on the way of the cross in the hope of the day of resurrection.

Whether you are giving up chocolate or taking up jogging this week, why not also accept Dignity and Worth’s Lenten Challenge? In #time4change we want to encourage supporters to undertake five challenges in the next forty days and to let us know how you get on.

5 challenges; 40 days

organise ONE Bible-study about marriage and relationships

share with TWO Methodists about how your sexuality impacts/informs your faith and listen whilst they do the same.

talk to THREE fellow Methodists about Dignity and Worth and our aims and values and encourage them to sign up.

‎write FOUR hundred words to your Church Council Secretary, explaining why your congregation needs to be more openly affirming and welcoming to Q+ folk

spend FIVE minutes each day praying for those in your church who disagree with you about issues of gender, sexuality or relationships.

We’ll be posting some resources to help you complete the challenge so watch this space.

We’d love to hear how you got on, so please send your stories to: leadership@dignityandworth.org.uk
